How We Do It
The doors and drawers are the most visible and frequently used parts of your cabinetry, making them essential to its overall look. In-shop refinishing allows us to provide a higher-quality finish than on-site work by controlling the environment and using specialized tools. This ensures a smoother, more durable result that lasts longer.
(1) Degreasing and Surface Cleaning
Each door or drawer front is thoroughly cleaned and degreased through a multi-step process to ensure optimal adhesion for the refinishing process.
(2) Repairs & Sanding
Any small dings, scratches, or other blemishes are repaired, followed by sanding to create a smooth surface ready for priming.
(3) Primer Coat
A high-quality primer is applied to provide an even, durable base for the final coats. After priming, a light test is performed to detect and correct any imperfections
(4) First Topcoat Application:
The first coat of your selected finish is applied. Afterward, a light test ensures smoothness before proceeding to the final topcoat.
(5) Final Topcoat:
Apply the final topcoat to the doors. This represents the final finish that customers will see everyday when they use the cabinets.
(6) Inspection & Wrapping
Each door is carefully inspected and light-tested to ensure doors meet our quality standards. Following final inspection, doors are wrapped to ensure safe transportation.
Using the Best
Envirolak is widely regarded as the top performance coating for cabinets, thanks to its eco-friendly, low-VOC formula. This ensures not only a durable, long-lasting finish but also a healthier environment for your home. Its superior adhesion allows the coating to bond exceptionally well to cabinet surfaces, while its resistance to wear and tear makes it perfect for high-traffic areas like kitchens and bathrooms.
